The Tail Country Team consists of Daycare Leaders, Enrichment Coaches, Certified Dog Trainers Kennel Attendants, and our Guest Service Specialist. Staff members are trained in dog body language, Pet CPR & 1st Aid and must maintain continuing education in the health and safety of our boarding and daycare guests. Our caring, certified and professional staff provides your dog with love and attention, from a morning “rise and shine” walk, supervising play groups, enrichment games, and finally settling in for the night with a bedtime treat and cuddles.
Barbara and Chad Noll are the owners and operators of Tail Country Pet Resort, LLC. Having multiple dogs of their own, they know how emotional and stressful it is when traveling without your beloved dogs. Their vision was to have a pet resort where pet parents could rest assure that their dog(s) were not only in the best of care but having a “pawsome” vacation as well. In June of 2015 they purchased a 54-acre farm to begin their journey.
The Nolls’ are members and volunteers at the York County SPCA. Their golden retrievers, Hunter & Lily were therapy dogs for Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services. Hunter & Lily retired from therapy services in July 2017.
Barbara is a graduate of Animal Behavior College (ABC) and ABC Mentor Trainer. In July of 2014-December 2017, she founded PAWSitive Dog Training LLC and provided private in-home training. She now oversees the daily operations of Tail Country Pet Resort and is the training director at Tail Country’s Training Center. In March 2022, through the Professional Animal Care Certification Council (PACCC), Barbara became a Certified Professional Animal Care Provider.
